I already have an active TIDAL subscription, can I use my existing TIDAL account with MATE?

can I import my playlists from other streaming services I use?

Yes, we want your transition to TIDAL to be as smooth as possible. You can import any current playlists from other streaming services here.

how much data will streaming TIDAL music use?

A TIDAL HiFi membership (included as part of the MATE voucher code) supports the following sound options:

  • HiFi – Lossless quality audio (1411kbps or 16bit / 44.1kHz)
  • High – Best compromise between data usage and sound quality (320kbps AAC).
  • Normal – Reduced data usage for slower connections.
For the best streaming experience on TIDAL HiFi, a steady Internet connection of 1.5 to 2 Mbps or more is recommended. Note that HiFi audio usually consumes up to 5.5 MB of data per minute (varying based on the exact sample rates).

what happens to my TIDAL music if I cancel my MATE mobile?

If you downgrade to a non-eligible MATE mobile plan or cancel your MATE mobile plan, any associated, active TIDAL music subscription code will be cancelled.

You can continue to pay for your TIDAL subscription separately and keep your music if you wish to do so.

how many devices can I use simultaneously on TIDAL?

You can use one (1) device in online mode and five (5) devices in offline mode simultaneously with TIDAL.

• Example 1: You could listen to TIDAL on your PC/Mac in online mode and simultaneously listen on five (5) smartphones/tablets in offline mode;

• Example 2: You could listen to TIDAL on your smartphone in online mode, and simultaneously listen on three (3) tablets, and two (2) smartphones in offline mode;
