At the moment, any eSIM MATE mobile service does not show the correct network name on the top of the phone.
On iPhone, the network name is showing as a “.”
On Android, the network name is showing as “Your Provider”
This is supposed to display “mate” or “Telstra”.
We have raised this with Telstra Wholesale who have advised this should be resolved within a few weeks.
This is also displaying a “.” on some older mobile services (3+ years old).
Please note that has no effect or impact on the mobile network at all, it is just the network name that is displayed.
