I’ve received an invoice, but my service is not active

Received an invoice but your service isn’t active yet? No stress — this can happen, and you won’t be overcharged.

Why you received an invoice

Your billing cycle starts from the day you sign up with MATE. That means an invoice is created on that date, even if your service hasn’t been activated yet.

How billing is adjusted

Once your service is up and running, we automatically adjust your billing so you only pay for the time your service is active.

  • If your first invoice hasn’t been charged yet, the adjustment will be applied there
  • If it has already been charged, the adjustment will show on your next invoice
💡 Tip: You’ll only be charged for the days your service is actually active — we take care of the rest automatically.

This adjustment usually happens within your first billing cycle (around 14 days from sign-up).
