With FTTB, fibre is run to your building’s communications room, where the Main Distribution Frame (MDF) is located. From there, the connection uses your building’s existing copper phone lines to reach each individual unit.
💡 Tip: If you’re on FTTB, there’s no nbn connection box (NTD) inside your home. Your modem connects to a standard telephone socket.
To get connected, you’ll need a VDSL2-compatible modem. You can bring your own, or grab one from us during sign-up.
