An HFC line runs from a nearby fibre node and connects to your premises via coaxial cable. This setup requires an nbn network device (also called an HFC modem), which is typically installed where the HFC line enters your home.
To get online, you’ll need a router with a WAN port that plugs into the nbn HFC modem. You can BYO a compatible modem/router or purchase one from us during sign-up.
