To access 5G, you’ll need a 5G compatible device and be within a 5G coverage area. 5G is now available in most metro and regional areas and continues to expand (check coverage here).
💡 Tip: No 5G in your area yet? No worries. Your 5G device will automatically switch to our 4G network, so you won’t notice any difference.
A few things to know about 5G coverage
- The coverage map is a guide only and is indicative of predicted coverage. It doesn’t guarantee exact coverage at a specific address.
- 4G-only devices will receive 4G only, regardless of plan.
- Plans with 5G access may operate on either 5G or 4G networks depending on availability.
- Plans without 5G access operate on 4G only.
