An eSIM (embedded SIM) is a digital version of a SIM card built into your phone. Instead of inserting a physical SIM card, you download your mobile service directly onto your device.
With eSIM, you can activate your MATE mobile service faster without waiting for a SIM card to arrive in the mail.
How eSIM works
- Sign up for a MATE mobile plan and choose eSIM
- Once your service is ready, we’ll email you a QR code
- Scan the QR code using your phone
- Follow the prompts on your device to install the eSIM
Your MATE mobile service will then download directly onto your compatible device.
💡 Tip: You’ll need an internet connection (Wi-Fi or mobile data) to download and install your eSIM.
