I received an activation SMS, but my new MATE SIM isn’t working?

Got your activation SMS but your SIM isn’t working yet? Let’s get you sorted.

In most cases, it just needs a quick refresh to connect properly to the network.

Try this quick SIM reset

  1. Turn your phone off and remove the SIM card
  2. Turn your phone back on without the SIM inserted
  3. Turn it off again, reinsert the SIM, then power it back on
💡 Tip: This process helps your phone reconnect cleanly to the network after activation.

Still not working?

Run through a few extra checks:

  • Make sure your phone isn’t in airplane mode
  • Check your device is unlocked and compatible with our network
  • Try the SIM in another phone if you have one handy
