In light of recent unrest in the Middle East, all MATE mobile services can make toll-free calls to several affected countries from within Australia.

To help our customers stay in touch with loved ones, all MATE mobile services can make toll-free calls from Australia to selected countries.
These toll-free calls are available from 12:01 AM AEDT on Thursday 13 March 2026 until withdrawn.

No. This support applies to voice calls only. Standard charges apply to SMS and MMS messages.
Can I call while overseas?
No. Toll-free calls apply only when calling from Australia. Calls made while roaming overseas are not included.
How long are these calls toll-free for?
Toll-free calls are available from 12:01 AM AEDT on Thursday 13 March 2026 until withdrawn.
