The NAB MATE promo is an exclusive internet offer for NAB customers. When you sign up for a new eligible MATE nbn® plan using the promo code NABMATE and pay with an eligible NAB card, you’ll save $30 per month for the first 6 months, then $20 per month ongoing. That’s up to $300 in savings over the first 12 months, with $20 per month continuing for the promotional lifetime.
Who is eligible?
You’re eligible if you:
- Are a NAB customer with an eligible NAB Visa debit card, NAB Visa credit card, NAB Now Pay Later (NNPL) digital card, or NAB Business Visa debit/credit card.
- Sign up for a new eligible MATE nbn® plan during the promotion period (1 September 2025 – 31 August 2026).
- Keep paying your MATE bill with your eligible NAB card to continue receiving the discount.
How do I claim the offer?
It’s simple:
- Sign up for an eligible MATE nbn® plan via the dedicated NAB promo page.
- Enter the promo code NABMATE at checkout.
- Add your eligible NAB card as your payment method.
Your discount will be applied automatically once your service is active.
Which internet plans are included?
The NAB MATE promo is available on selected MATE nbn® plans. All plans include unlimited data and no lock-in contracts.
Please note: the Ripper 50/20 and No Dramas Wireless plans are not eligible.

What happens after the first 6 months?
For the first 6 months, you’ll save $30 per month. From month 7 onwards, the discount changes to $20 per month, which continues for the promotional lifetime as long as you keep your service active and pay with your eligible NAB card.
Can existing MATE customers get this offer?
- Existing MATE internet customers: If you haven’t received our $30 off promotion before, you may be eligible. Get in touch and we’ll check if the NABMATE promo can be applied to your account (you’ll need to pay with an eligible NAB card).
- MATE mobile-only customers: Add a new internet plan to your account using the NABMATE promo code and you can receive the discount (must pay with an eligible NAB card).
Can this be combined with other offers?
No – this promo can’t be used with other discounts, referral bonuses or promos.
You can still stack our mobile bundle discount, which gives you an extra $10 off your internet each month if you add a MATE mobile plan.
What happens if I stop paying with my NAB card?
If you switch to a non-eligible payment method, your NAB MATE discount will end and your plan will revert to the standard monthly price.
How do I keep the $20 off ongoing?
Just keep your MATE nbn® service active and continue paying with your eligible NAB card. The $20 monthly discount will continue for the promotional lifetime.
Can I save even more?
Yes! If you bundle a MATE mobile plan with your internet, you’ll get an additional $10 off your monthly internet bill on top of the NAB discount.
Are there any contracts?
All MATE plans are month-to-month with no lock-in contracts, except for Fibre Connect plans which have a 12-month minimum term.
Why is my NAB card not eligible?
Only certain NAB cards qualify for the promo:
- Personal NAB Visa debit cards
- Personal NAB Visa credit cards
- NAB Now Pay Later (NNPL) digital cards
- NAB Business Visa debit cards
- NAB Business Visa credit cards
Other NAB cards (e.g. commercial or corporate cards) are not eligible. For full details, check the official terms and conditions.
