We can never guarantee a modem from another provider will work, but in general, we have many customers using Telstra modems.
Most Telstra modems will work with MATE, provided that they are compatible with your connection type and not locked to Telstra.
The only way to determine if a modem is network locked is to try and configure it with our internet service. If the modem is locked, you will need to use an alternative modem.
