If you can’t make or receive calls, don’t stress — most issues can be sorted with a few quick checks.
Start with the basics
First up, give your phone a quick reset:
- Turn your phone off and back on again
- Toggle airplane mode on and off
- Make sure your SIM is properly inserted
Check your coverage
If your phone works in some places but not others, it’s likely a coverage issue rather than a fault with your service. Check the coverage map to see what’s available in your area.
Check for outages
Sometimes there may be a temporary network issue nearby. Check for known outages that could be affecting your service.
Make sure your device is compatible
Not all phones work perfectly on every network. For the best experience, your device should support the following:
- 4G bands: 700MHz / 1800MHz (with 2600MHz in some areas)
- 5G bands: 850MHz (n5) and 3500MHz (n78)
Your phone also needs to be unlocked (not tied to another provider).
