Yes, all MATE mobile services support Voice over LTE (VoLTE).
VoLTE (also known as 4G calling) lets you make calls over MATE’s 4G network instead of the older 3G network. It means you stay connected to 4G during a call, so you can keep using mobile data while you’re on the phone.
VoLTE is available anywhere there’s 4G coverage and your handset supports it. Use our mobile network coverage map to check 4G availability in your area.
How do I know if my device supports VoLTE?
VoLTE is automatically enabled on MATE’s network. If you’re not sure whether your handset is compatible, check with your device manufacturer.
Here’s how to tell if VoLTE is active during a call:
- iPhone: 4G will appear in the status bar during a call.
- Android: VoLTE will appear next to the 4G icon in the status bar during a call.
💡 Tip: There are no extra charges for VoLTE, and it doesn’t count towards your monthly data allowance.
