Yes. To access 5G with MATE, you’ll need:
- A 5G compatible device that isn’t locked to another provider
- A MATE 5G-enabled mobile plan (capped speeds apply)
- To be in a 5G coverage area
To access 5G, you’ll need a 5G compatible device and be within a 5G coverage area. 5G is now available in most metro and regional areas and continues to expand (check coverage here).
đź’ˇ Tip: Outside of 5G coverage, your device will automatically switch to 4G so you won’t notice any difference.
