At MATE, we always aim to provide great value, local support 7 days a week, and internet you can trust.<\/p>\n

From time to time, external factors mean we need to adjust our pricing. We want to be upfront with you about what\u2019s changing and why.<\/p>\n

Why the changes?<\/h3>\n

From 1 July 2025, the wholesale pricing that nbn charges us for internet services increased again as part of the Federal government and nbn’s annual wholesale pricing review (view official update<\/a>), which includes CPI adjustments.<\/p>\n

In addition, rising energy costs, significant increases in compliance and privacy costs, superannuation increases, and other operational expenses continue to impact the cost of providing your service. These changes affect all internet providers in Australia, including MATE.<\/p>\n

Australians are using more internet than ever, with higher-quality streaming, video calls, gaming and remote work becoming part of daily life.<\/p>\n

We always try to absorb increases where we can. However, to maintain the level of service, support, and network reliability you expect, a small increase to our retail nbn pricing is required.<\/p>\n

If you’re on an eligible FTTP or HFC connection, some plans will get upgraded to faster speed tiers. These upgrades will begin rolling out from September 2025 and will be applied automatically.<\/p>\n

Customers on our You Beaut nbn 100\/40<\/strong> plan are invited to switch to any of the new plans below, starting from mid-September. Please be aware that your plan will not be upgraded automatically.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

When will this take effect?<\/h3>\n

For existing MATE customers, the updated pricing will take effect from August and September 2025 with specific dates to be communicated by email.<\/p>\n
