If you are an existing MATE customer, you can use our self-care portal or myMATE app to upgrade to Fibre, provided your address is eligible.<\/p>\n

For specific information about the benefits of upgrading to Fibre to the Premises (FTTP)<\/a>, refer to our Fibre Upgrade pages for Fibre to the Node (FTTN)<\/a> and Fibre to the Curb (FTTC)<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udca1 Thinking about a Fibre Upgrade? Here’s some important information:<\/span><\/div>\n

\ud83d\udcc5 Orders placed from 10 December 2025<\/span><\/p>\n

You’ll need to choose a plan nbn 500\/50 or higher<\/span> to upgrade, and stay on nbn 500 or higher for 12 months<\/span>. During that time, you won’t be able to downgrade to a lower speed plan.<\/p>\n

\u2705 For Fibre Upgrade orders placed from 10th December 2025, there’s no Early Termination Fee<\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\ud83d\udcc5 Orders placed before 10 December 2025<\/span><\/p>\n

These upgrades also come with a 12 month period on nbn 500 or higher<\/span>.<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udea8 For Fibre Upgrade orders placed before 10th December 2025, if the service is cancelled or downgraded below nbn 500 during those 12 months, an Early Termination Fee of $220<\/span> applies.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
