If you are using a smartphone or tablet, you should turn off your mobile data connectivity or any hotspot connection during this process.<\/p>\n<p>Connect to the Wi-Fi\/Wireless network of the NetComm NF10WV modem on your computer\/laptop\/smartphone\/tablet. Enter <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>admin<\/strong><\/span> for the username and <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>admin<\/strong><\/span> for the password.<\/p>\n<p>If this doesn\u2019t work, the password will be printed on the sticker on the back of the NetComm NF10WV modem. Please note that choosing the &#8220;Basic Setup&#8221; option will NOT work. You will need to enter your MATE service username and password as follows:<\/p>\n<p><strong>PPP Username: <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">000000000000000@wba.matenbn.com.au<\/span><\/strong> (your MATE service username would have been emailed to you during the order process)<br \/>\n<strong>PPP Password: <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">1234567<\/span> <\/strong>(your MATE service password would have been emailed to you during the order process &#8211; this is NOT the same password as your MATE self-care login)<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-10219 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.letsbemates.com.au\/mate\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/NF10WV_PPPoE.png\" alt=\"Nf10wv Pppoe\" width=\"1241\" height=\"720\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.letsbemates.com.au\/mate\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/NF10WV_PPPoE.png 1241w, https:\/\/www.letsbemates.com.au\/mate\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/NF10WV_PPPoE-768x446.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1241px) 100vw, 1241px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Leave all other options as they are above, and press &#8216;<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Next<\/strong><\/span>&#8216;.<\/p>\n<p>On the next two screens (<em>Routing -Default Gateway<\/em> and <em>DNS Server Configuration<\/em>), just press &#8216;<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Next<\/strong><\/span>&#8216; without changing any settings.<\/p>\n<p>On the final screen (WAN Setup &#8211; Summary), press &#8216;<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Apply\/Save<\/strong><\/span>&#8216;.<\/p>\n"},{"label":"step 4 - plug your modem into your telephone wall socket","content":"<p>You now need to plug your NetComm NF10WV modem into your telephone wall socket using an RJ-11 telephone cable.<\/p>\n<p>One end of the telephone cable needs to be plugged into the grey <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">DSL<\/span> port on the back of the modem and the other end into the telephone wall socket in your home.<\/p>\n<p>You will need to wait for the <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">DSL<\/span> light on the front of your modem to turn solid \u2013 this may take up to 15 minutes. DO NOT UNPLUG THE MODEM DURING THIS TIME.<\/p>\n<p>If the DSL light on the front does not turn solid after 15 minutes and you have more than one socket in the home, please plug your NetComm NF10WV modem into any other available telephone sockets in your home, and turn the power on and off once plugged in.<\/p>\n<p>Leave your NetComm NF10WV modem plugged into each telephone wall socket for up to 15 minutes until the DSL light on the modem turns solid. Once this occurs, the <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Internet<\/span> light should also illuminate.<\/p>\n<p>If the DSL light on your NetComm NF10WV modem does not turn solid after 15 minutes and you have tried to connect this on all available telephone wall sockets in your home, please <a href=\"https:\/\/www.letsbemates.com.au\/mate\/support\/\">contact our support team<\/a> for further troubleshooting.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-10214 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.letsbemates.com.au\/mate\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/NF10WV_back_DSL.jpeg\" alt=\"Nf10wv Back Dsl\" width=\"513\" height=\"443\" \/><\/p>\n"}]},"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v20.6 -
