If you&#8217;re a MATE customer on an eligible plan and technology type, you are getting faster speeds without lifting a finger.<\/p>\n<h4>\ud83d\ude80 What changed?<\/h4>\n<p>nbn supercharged its high-speed tiers for eligible customers on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.letsbemates.com.au\/mate\/faq\/what-is-nbn-fibre-to-the-premises-fttp\/\">FTTP<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.letsbemates.com.au\/mate\/faq\/what-is-hybrid-fibre-coaxial-hfc\/\">HFC<\/a>. If you were a MATE customer on an eligible FTTP or HFC plan, you were automatically upgraded to the new speeds from 15 September 2025.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>No Worries 100\/20 \u2192 Upgraded to <strong>No Worries 500\/50<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Fair Dinkum 250\/25 \u2192 Upgraded to <strong>Fair Dinkum 750\/50<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Flamin&#8217; Fast 1000\/50 \u2192 Upgraded to <strong>Flamin&#8217; Fast 1000\/100<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>\ud83c\udfe0 I&#8217;m on a different connection type &#8211; can I get faster speeds?<\/h4>\n<p>If you&#8217;re currently on a different nbn technology type (like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.letsbemates.com.au\/mate\/faq\/what-is-nbn-fibre-to-the-node-fttn\/\">Fibre to the Node<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.letsbemates.com.au\/mate\/faq\/what-is-nbn-fibre-to-the-curb-fttc\/\">Fibre to the Curb<\/a>), you might be eligible for a<strong>\u00a0fibre upgrade<\/strong> at no additional cost through the nbn Fibre Connect program.<\/p>\n<p>To check if your address qualifies, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.letsbemates.com.au\/mate\/nbn-fibre-connect\/\">visit our Fibre Upgrade info page<\/a> and fill out the form. We&#8217;ll get in touch with next steps if you&#8217;re eligible.<\/p>\n<h4>\u26a0\ufe0f Will I always get the maximum speed?<\/h4>\n<p>Not necessarily.
