This only happens in some cases, usually when an order needs extra verification for security reasons.<\/p>\n<div style=\"margin-top: 1em; margin-bottom: 1.5em; padding: 1em; background-color: #d7f6e6; border-left: 5px solid #00b26b;\" role=\"note\" aria-label=\"Helpful tip\"><span style=\"font-weight: 600;\">\ud83d\udca1 Why this matters:<\/span> Your mobile number can be used to access banking apps, verification codes, and personal accounts. Identity checks help stop someone else from activating your service without permission.<\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 600;\">What happens if your order is flagged?<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Your eSIM order will show as <span style=\"font-weight: 600;\">Awaiting Verification<\/span>.<\/li>\n<li>You\u2019ll need to complete an identity check so we can verify it\u2019s really you.<\/li>\n<li>In some cases, this can be completed in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.letsbemates.com.au\/mate\/mymate-app\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">myMATE app<\/a>. If we need to complete the check over the phone, you\u2019ll need to call us.<\/li>\n<li>Once verified, you\u2019ll be able to activate your eSIM through the <a href=\"https:\/\/mymate.letsbemates.com.au\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">self-care portal<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.letsbemates.com.au\/mate\/mymate-app\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">myMATE app<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 600;\">How to complete the identity check by phone<\/span><\/p>\n<p>If you need to call us, please call <span style=\"font-weight: 600;\">13 14 13<\/span> during our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.letsbemates.com.au\/mate\/faq\/what-are-your-support-hours\/\">support hours<\/a>.<\/p>\n<div style=\"margin-top: 1em; margin-bottom: 1.5em; padding: 1em; background-color: #fff3e0; border-left: 5px solid #ff9800;\" role=\"note\" aria-label=\"Important\"><span style=\"font-weight: 600;\">\u26a0\ufe0f Important:<\/span> Only the latest verification code sent to you will work.
