Once payment goes through, we\u2019ll send you a confirmation by email and SMS.<\/p>\n<div style=\"margin-top: 1em; margin-bottom: 1.5em; padding: 1em; background-color: #d7f6e6; border-left: 5px solid #00b26b;\" role=\"note\" aria-label=\"Helpful tip\"><span style=\"font-weight: 600;\">\ud83d\udca1 Tip:<\/span> Already a MATE customer adding a new mobile service? We won\u2019t charge you upfront for the first month.<\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 600;\">Step 2 &#8211; Getting your SIM or eSIM ready<\/span><\/p>\n<p>If you ordered a physical SIM, we\u2019ll ship it the next business day. We\u2019ll confirm this by email and SMS with more info about your service and account.<\/p>\n<p>If you ordered an eSIM, you won\u2019t need to wait for a SIM card in the mail. Once your order is ready, you\u2019ll activate it through the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.letsbemates.com.au\/mate\/mymate-app\/\">myMATE app<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/mymate.letsbemates.com.au\/\">self-care portal<\/a>.<\/p>\n<div style=\"margin-top: 1em; margin-bottom: 1.5em; padding: 1em; background-color: #fff3e0; border-left: 5px solid #ff9800;\" role=\"note\" aria-label=\"Important\"><span style=\"font-weight: 600;\">\u26a0\ufe0f Important:<\/span> Some eSIM orders may need an identity check before activation. This helps protect your account and mobile number from fraud. If this applies to your order, you may be able to complete the check in the myMATE app, or we may ask you to call us. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.letsbemates.com.au\/mate\/faq\/call-to-verify-esim-order\/\">Learn more about eSIM identity checks<\/a>.<\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 600;\">Step 3 &#8211; Activate your SIM or eSIM<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 600;\">Physical SIM<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Once your SIM card arrives, activate it by signing in to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.letsbemates.com.au\/mate\/mymate-app\/\">myMATE app<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/mymate.letsbemates.com.au\/\">self-care portal<\/a> and going to <span style=\"font-weight: 600;\">My orders<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re transferring your number from another provider, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.letsbemates.com.au\/mate\/faq\/what-do-i-need-to-transfer-my-mobile-number\/\">read this first<\/a>. Don\u2019t insert your new SIM until the transfer is complete.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 600;\">eSIM<\/span><\/p>\n<p>To activate your eSIM, sign in to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.letsbemates.com.au\/mate\/mymate-app\/\">myMATE app<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/mymate.letsbemates.com.au\/\">self-care portal<\/a>, go to <span style=\"font-weight: 600;\">My orders<\/span>, and follow the prompts to activate with a new number or transfer your existing number.<\/p>\n<p>After activation, your eSIM QR code will be available in the myMATE app or self-care portal.<\/p>\n<div style=\"margin-top: 1em; margin-bottom: 1.5em; padding: 1em; background-color: #fff3e0; border-left: 5px solid #ff9800;\" role=\"note\" aria-label=\"Important\"><span style=\"font-weight: 600;\">\u26a0\ufe0f Important:<\/span> Don\u2019t cancel your number with your old provider if you\u2019re transferring it to MATE. Your old service will cancel automatically once the transfer is complete. Cancelling early could cause you to lose your number.<\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 600;\">Step 4 &#8211; Install your SIM or eSIM<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 600;\">Physical SIM<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Our SIM cards are triple punched, which means they work with Standard, Micro, or Nano SIM slots. Just pop out the size that fits your phone and insert it.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 600;\">eSIM<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Once your eSIM is activated, you can:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Open the QR code in the myMATE app or self-care portal<\/li>\n<li>Use the activation code if the QR code doesn\u2019t work<\/li>\n<li>Go to the self-care portal and select <span style=\"font-weight: 600;\">View eSIM instructions<\/span> to find your eSIM details<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div style=\"margin-top: 1em; margin-bottom: 1.5em; padding: 1em; background-color: #d7f6e6; border-left: 5px solid #00b26b;\" role=\"note\" aria-label=\"Helpful tip\"><span style=\"font-weight: 600;\">\ud83d\udca1 Tip:<\/span> You\u2019ll need an internet connection, like Wi-Fi, to download and install your eSIM.<\/div>\n<div style=\"margin-top: 1em; margin-bottom: 1.5em; padding: 1em; background-color: #fff3e0; border-left: 5px solid #ff9800;\" role=\"note\" aria-label=\"Important\"><span style=\"font-weight: 600;\">\u26a0\ufe0f Important:<\/span> Your eSIM QR code is only available in the myMATE app or self-care portal. It won\u2019t be shown in the email body.<\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 600;\">Anything else?<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Your MATE mobile service is month-to-month with no lock-in contract.<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re keeping your current number, your old provider will cancel it automatically once the number transfer is complete.
