That\u2019s why we offer two levels of access:<\/p>\n<h3>\ud83d\udee0 1. Authority (Full Access)<\/h3>\n<p>An <strong>authority<\/strong> is someone you officially nominate to act on your behalf. Once added, they have full access to your account and can:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>View billing, account and service info<\/li>\n<li>Make changes to any plans or services<\/li>\n<li>Update the payment details<\/li>\n<li>Update the contact details<\/li>\n<li>Add or disconnect any services on your account<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div style=\"margin-top: 1em; margin-bottom: 1.5em; padding: 1em; background-color: #d7f6e6; border-left: 5px solid #00b26b;\" role=\"note\" aria-label=\"Helpful tip\"><strong>\ud83d\udca1 Tip:<\/strong> An authority can act as if they were you after verifying their identity and yours. Make sure you trust the person you&#8217;re nominating!<\/div>\n<h4>How to add an authority:<\/h4>\n<p>You\u2019ll need to complete and return our Appointment of Authority form. It helps us keep your account secure while giving someone else the access you\u2019re comfortable with.<\/p>\n<p>As you\u2019re providing full authority for someone else to act on your behalf, the form needs to be filled out in full, dated and signed.<\/p>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.letsbemates.com.au\/includes\/uploads\/Important%20Stuff\/mate_communicate_cis_Appointment%20of%20Advocate.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>\ud83d\udc49 Download the Appointment of Authority Form (PDF)<\/strong><\/a>\n<p>Once we receive the form, we\u2019ll process it within 2 working days and let you know when it\u2019s done.<\/p>\n<p><strong>To remove an authority<\/strong>, you must contact us via phone or live chat to complete a 2FA check.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>\ud83d\udcac 2. Advocate (Talk Only)<\/h3>\n<p>An <strong>advocate<\/strong> can speak to us about your account, ask questions and get general info about the service or even log faults, but they can\u2019t make any changes, request new services or access personal info.<\/p>\n<p>Think of them like a support person who can help you out, but can\u2019t take action on your behalf.<\/p>\n<h4>How to add an advocate:<\/h4>\n<p>Easy \u2013 just give us a call on <a href=\"tel:131413\">13 14 13<\/a> or jump on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.letsbemates.com.au\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Live Chat<\/a> at letsbemates.com.au.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ll run a quick 2FA security check with you, then add the advocate to your account. No forms, no fuss.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>Want to remove someone?<\/h3>\n<p>If you ever want to update or remove an authority or advocate, just get in touch via phone or live chat.
