{"id":10914,"date":"2020-11-17T08:36:01","date_gmt":"2020-11-16T21:36:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.letsbemates.com.au\/mate\/?post_type=faq&#038;p=10914"},"modified":"2025-07-29T13:35:43","modified_gmt":"2025-07-29T03:35:43","slug":"my-nbn-order-is-in-a-held-status-what-happens-now","status":"publish","type":"faq","link":"https:\/\/www.letsbemates.com.au\/mate\/faq\/my-nbn-order-is-in-a-held-status-what-happens-now\/","title":{"rendered":"My nbn order is in a HELD status, what happens now?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>If your nbn order has gone into a <strong>HELD<\/strong> status, it means nbn has advised that a <strong>network shortfall<\/strong> has prevented your appointment from being completed.<\/p>\n<p>A network shortfall means your address is not yet ready to be connected to nbn and further work (usually relating to nbn infrastructure) is required before your internet connection can be established.<\/p>\n<p>When a network shortfall issue is identified, nbn enacts what is called a <strong>Planned Remediation Date (PRD)<\/strong> for this issue to be resolved. This date is <strong>not<\/strong> an appointment or connection date, but a target date nbn intends to resolve the identified issue.<\/p>\n<p>If your nbn order goes into HELD status, it will be assessed by the nbn HELD orders team and a Planned Remediation Date (PRD) should be provided within 5\u201310 business days.<\/p>\n<p>As soon as nbn provides a PRD for your order, we\u2019ll let you know.
